How to Custom Notification Sound on Android for Different Apps?

When it comes to ways to customize your notification sounds, Android has more than a few options to offer. You can, of course, set one sound that will be prominent for all apps (some are exceptions like Viber or FB Messenger as they have their own notification sounds). Or, even better, you can set different notifications sounds for different apps. This can be done in each app’s notification settings and we made sure to explain the procedure below. Open Settings.
Tap Apps & notifications and then expand all apps. This path varies on different Android skins, but it’s essentially the same.
Open the app you want to have a different notification sound and tap Notifications.
Select Sounds and choose the sound you prefer for notifications.
