You can see all installed apps on your iPhone in more than a few ways but what about recently deleted apps? Yes, you can see those apps under the Account > Purchased section in App Store. Once there, you can install them again or hide them from the list. Learn more below.
Can you find recently deleted apps on your iPhone?
The only way you can see the recently deleted apps on your iPhone is by looking at the Purchased section in App Store where you can find all previously-downloaded apps (both free and purchased apps). There, you can find all installed apps along with apps that were previously installed on your device. From there, you can redownload apps. There’s no way to sort apps by name so you’ll need to locate apps by thoroughly browsing through the chronological list. And, if there are a lot of apps, this can take some time.
Here’s how to find recently deleted apps on your iPhone:
- Open App Store.
- Tap on your account pic at the top right corner.
- Select Purchased.
- Tap Not on this iPhone.
- You should see the list of all previous apps that are not currently installed.
Have in mind that this list contains apps from all devices with that Apple ID. So, you might see years-old apps from previous devices or other devices with the same account. You can also swipe and hide apps from the list and, based on our research, there’s no way to restore them. If you search for them in App Store, hidden apps don’t have the cloud-looking download icon next to them and appear just like any other app you never installed before.
Other than that, there are no other ways to find out which app was deleted from your iPhone. Some users suspect that there’s a way to use iTunes but, based on what we know, that’s not an option.
And, on that note, we can conclude this short and, hopefully, informative article. Thank you for reading and don’t forget to share your thoughts in the comments section below. We look forward to hearing from you.
