How to Forward Text Messages on Android Automatically

If you were wondering how to forward text messages from one cellular number to another, you are not alone. The short answer is that it’s possible by using some third-party messaging clients. Other than that, you’ll need to do this manually. The long answer on how to automatically forward text messages on Android can be found below.

How to Automatically Forward Text Messages to Another Android Phone

As we already said in the introduction, unless your carrier offers some solutions in this regard, there’s no way to automatically forward text messages with native system resources. However, what you can do is download one of a few apps that provide this service and install them on your device.

After some configuring, you should be able to automatically forward text messages on your Android. Now, there are a few notable apps that do this. Many apps come from sources other than Play Store and we can’t recommend them. Don’t forget that you are allowing an app to access your personal text messages. Or text messages of your child.

One of the best ways to do this is with Tasker. But, the whole procedure can be a bit overwhelming for inexperienced users.

That’s why we suggest using one of these two apps. Both apps are called SMS Forwarder and both work in a similar manner. You can choose to forward messages to another cellular number or to an email address.

The catch? You have a trial period in one (30 SMSs forwarder) and a trial period in the other. However, if this is something you deem useful or even necessary, spending some money won’t be an issue.

You can get Spring SMS: SMS Forwarder, here. There’s a limit of 30 SMSs before you need to activate it.sms spring sms forwarder

On the other hand, SMS Forwarder: Auto Forward SMS, can be found here.SMS forwarder 2

After downloading one or the other, follow the instructions. The procedure is quite intuitive and you should be able to set it up within minutes. Just don’t forget to keep the app working in the background. If the system kills its background process, it won’t be able to forward incoming messages.

That should do it. Thank you for reading and feel free to share your recommendations with us in the comments section below.
